Open xwrite in Chrome on Android, use the browser menu, and choose Install app or Add to Home screen. If Chrome offers an install prompt, use that.

iPhone works too

Open xwrite in Safari, tap Share, choose Add to Home Screen, and confirm. It launches from your home screen like the focused little writing machine it wants to be.
